Ah, hotel

We gave in yesterday and stopped at about 8pm and got a hotel room in Salina, Kansas. We reveled in a quick swim in the pool (and hot tub!) and sleeping in real beds. We all crashed and slept well. This morning we continue our drive through Kansas. Lots of farms, wind turbines, cows (even some buffalo), and a few oil pumps. The boys have been taking some pictures with their cameras, and doing Nan's activity book. We're all feeling refreshed today and excited to get to Denver this afternoon. So far we've had sun the whole trip - though it was nice to wake up to cooler temperatures this morning. The air here in Kansas feels drier. The billboards here have been advising us of our eternal fate and showing frequent reminders of Jesus.
